CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. – Flourishing Families, a local nonprofit organization that provides job assistance, shelter assistance, financial advice and counseling to homeless and low income individuals, are presenting their 2nd Annual Pink Ribbon Affair.
Last year, Flourishing Families was able to conduct a spa day for all the people interested in supporting breast cancer, this year they are hosting a 5K, 10K and 20K walk that will support the American Cancer Society.
In order for the walk to be successful, Flourishing Families needs support in four different areas:
Volunteers
Advertising
Sponsorships
Donations
The Pink Ribbon Affair Walk will take place on October 27th at 8 a.m. at the Great Escape Theater on Tiny Town Road. 25% of all the proceeds from the event will be donated to the American Cancer Society.

Will take place Sunday, May 19 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Bethlehem Christian Church, 280 Dunbar Cave Rd. Glen Clark and the Family Music will share a night of Christian music and songwriting.
Ladies Day St. Jude Fundraiser at Gary Mathews
Will take place all day Tuesday, May 21 at Gary Mathews KIA, 505 N. Riverside Dr. There will be free food, vendors, specials, and a St. Jude Fundraiser. For more information call 931-552-1111.
