CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. – At around 6:15 this morning, Emergency personnel were called to respond to a tanker fire in the area of Wilma Rudolph Blvd. and Center Pointe Rd.
According to a Clarksville Police report, the empty liquid nitrogen tanker caught on fire and was quickly extinguished by Clarksville Fire Rescue. There was no injury to the driver and no damage to the tractor.
The reason for the fire is still under investigation, but initial responders on the scene believe that the braking system may have been a contributing factor to the flames.
