Man Indicted for February Vehicle Fatality



CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. – A local man has been indicted for the fatality crash that occurred on February 3rd, 2012, which was the first fatality crash of the year.

According to a Clarksville Police report, Vincent Deron Clark (B/M, DOB:  11/16/80, Given Address:  1222 Vine Street, Clarksville) turned himself in on Monday, July 16th at around 2:12 p.m. 
 
Clark was the driver involved in a fatality crash on February 3rd where his Durango crossed into the opposite lane on Madison Street and struck a GMC Sierra head-on.  The driver of the Sierra, 20-year-old Tyler J. Head of Springfield, was pronounced dead at the scene.  The passenger of the Sierra, 19-year-old Lucas P. Haley of Springfield, went to the hospital in critical but stable condition.
 
Clark has been charged with Vehicular Homicide, Criminally Negligent Homicide, Reckless Homicide and two counts of Aggravated Assault.  His bond was set at $50,000.
