Navy Federal Donates to Fort Campbell Fisher House

CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. – Navy Federal Credit Union once again showed its support for the military Thursday with a $1,000 donation to the Fort Campbell Fisher House.  The presentation of a check was made in a brief ceremony at the Navy Federal location in Oak Grove, Kentucky.

“We serve this community and we wanted to give back to the community.  Fisher House is so important to the community in giving back to the Soldiers and their families so we wanted to reach them.  We thought a donation would be a way to reach them and say thank you for supporting our Soldiers,” said Jessica Olson, Branch Leader of Navy Federal Credit Union.

The mission of Fort Campbell Fisher House is to provide service members and their families, comfort, care and compassion while they receive medical care at Blanchfield Army Community Hospital.  “These folks have been so generous to give us a donation of $1,000 and that is tremendous.  We really appreciate their generosity,” said Fisher House Representative Scott Hollingsworth.

You’ll find Navy Federal Credit Union at 208 Segler Drive in the Oak Grove Shopping Center in Oak Grove, Kentucky.  To learn more about the services offered by Navy Federal, visit www.navyfederal.org.
