CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. – Operation Eagle’s Nest President Ed Rufo recognized Valerie Hunter-Kelly and Mark Kelly and the Air Assault Team with Keller Williams Realty Thursday for their support of the organization.
Rufo presented both of the Realtors with certificates of appreciation. “For many, many years since we started Operation Eagle’s Nest Mark and Valerie have been great supporters. Not just for the soldiers but for Operation Eagle’s Nest and of course everything we do for the soldiers,” Rufo said.
“Mark and I believe in supporting the community and there are certain organizations we are both committed to and operation eagle’s Nest is one of them. Mark is retired military and we understand the distresses that families go through and we just want to be able to help in the small way so can to support the soldiers and their families,” said Hunter-Kelly.
“We are so appreciative of the work that Ed and his organization does in support of soldiers and their families. Several years ago when I was still in the military we talked about when we reenlisted a soldier we talked about reenlisting families. It is extraordinarily important that as we think about things that we can do to help soldiers that families are included,” Kelly said.
Operation Eagle’s Nest, formed in 2003, is a fundraising initiative that works to extend a helping hand to soldiers and their families assigned to the 101st Airborne Division (Air Assault) and other units at Fort Campbell.
