Education Fair at the Kleeman Community Center

CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. – The Kleeman Community Center in Clarksville hosted an education fair Tuesday, January 31 at the center, 166 Cunningham Lane.  A number of  colleges, business schools and staff from the Austin Peay state University Educational Opportunity Center  were on hand to help the public with their educational goals.

“The education fair is to help the people of the New Providence community to find out about different educational opportunities other than a four year college.  We do have Austin Peay here representing but we also have a lot of business schools and a lot of two year schools,” said Tonya Wacker, Director of the Kleeman Community Center.

Wacker said shuttles are also coming in from the Warrior Transition Battalion at Fort Campbell and they were getting a lot of wounded soldiers coming in to the education fair.
