Chick-fil-A and Singer/Songwriter Lydia Walker present Valentine's Concert

CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. – Clarksville’s own musical prodigy, Lydia Walker, will be performing a special Valentine’s themed concert on Monday, February 13th at Chick-fil-A of Madison Street.

Door prizes for the Valentine’s event will be provided by Every Bloomin’ Thing & More florist in Clarksville, and the Chick-fil-A cow will be on hand to pose for photos.  Lydia’s new album, Beloved, will also be available for purchase on the night of the event.

Nineteen-year-old Lydia is well known in the Clarksville area, and has been playing music since the age of twelve.  Her heartfelt faith and message of hope comes through in her music and songwriting.  She is often considered a role model for young girls and aspiring musicians.  Lydia’s desire is to encourage others to reach for their dreams.  For more information on Lydia or her music visit LydiaWalkerMusic.com.

Local army wife and songstress Khrystian Lewis will be performing love songs as well, including some of her own, written for her soldier.  “My husband is the most inspiring person I’ve ever known,” said Lewis.  “As a captain in the Army her has served a tour in Iraq and gone through some of the most extreme training the military has to offer.   He is familiar with pain, familiar with the long dark hours of the night and familiar with endurance.  He lives in honor and sacrificial serving.  He is the very meaning to me of strength, courage, humility and power.”

The concert will take place from 6-8 p.m. and is free and open to the public.  Every second Monday Lydia hosts the monthly Music Night and often has other local musicians join her entertaining dinner guests.  The Music Night has been a great success and continues to grow in 2012.

Monday nights are also College Night at the Madison Street Chick-fil-A location.  From 5-10 p.m. patrons with a college ID receive a free Chicken Sandwich with the purchase of Medium Waffle Fries and a Medium Drink.
