OVC Championship Tickets on Sale

The 2012 Ohio Valley Conference Basketball Championship is coming up and tickets are on sale through the Austin Peay State University ticket office, with reserved all-session tickets available for a discounted price of $60 through Jan. 31.

The OVC Basketball Championship returns to Nashville's Municipal Auditorium for the second consecutive year with its four-day, 14-game event, beginning Feb. 29 through March 3. This will be the seventh time Municipal has hosted the event.

Beginning this year, the OVC is implementing the "Quadrant Seating System" for all men's games. Quadrant seating divides the floor and sideline mezzanine sections into to four sections and divides the tickets among the four schools playing in that session.

Austin Peay fans are encouraged to purchase tickets through the APSU ticket office by contacting Sharon Silva at 931.221.7761. Tickets purchased from the Austin Peay ticket office will be located within the Austin Peay quadrant for any session in which the Govs or Lady Govs are playing.

Reserved all-session tickets will go back to the regular $80 price, Feb. 1, with single-session tickets becoming available Feb. 2. Single-session tickets are priced at $30 a session for men's games and $15 a session for women's game.

Single-session tickets will be available only through Ticketmaster.com and Municipal Auditorium.
