Fort Campbell holds CFC Awards Ceremony

FORT CAMPBELL, Ky. - Fort Campbell recognized installation personnel who led the way in the post exceeding its annual Combined Federal Campaign (CFC) goal on Tuesday, January 24th, 2012.

The goal for the 2011 campaign was $750,000 and $903,983 was raised through donations and pledges.

CFC is the world’s largest and most successful annual workplace charity campaign, with more than 200 CFC campaigns throughout the country and internationally to help to raise millions of dollars each year. Pledges made by Federal civilian, postal and military donors during the campaign season (September 1 to December 15) support eligible non-profit organizations that provide health and human service benefits throughout the world.

The mission of the Fort Campbell Area Combined Federal Campaign is to promote and support philanthropy through a program that is employee focused, cost-efficient and effective in providing all federal employees the opportunity to improve the quality of life for all. The 2011 campaign marked the 50th year the fundraising drive has taken place as a way to give service members and civilians the opportunity to donate to a number of non-profit organizations they may be interested in.
