You’ll find Three Lindy’s on the second floor of Mildred & Mable’s, 109 Franklin Street in downtown Clarksville. The business
actually began with a web based operation in 2005 that was operated from the home and the store has only been open since December 1. Three Lindy’s is a family affair with Cindy Reed serving as Operations Director, Kara Reed is the Business Director and Laura Reed is the Creative Director.Talking about the historic downtown part of Clarksville, Cindy, Kara and Laura are all excited to be involved with their business in the downtown area. Kara said she is happy to be in a building that is over 100 years old that can be spruced up and made a little bit modern but still has a long history and also some character.
One of the first things we need to cover is where the name Three Lindy’s originated. Cindy Reed said it started with the creative combination of her name a Laura’s and the business was originally going to be called Lindy Hop Design. When Kara became a part of the business, her middle name was Lin so they became Three Lindy’s.
There are a number of services offered by Three Lindy’s with personalization taking center stage at the business with their slogan Personalize Your Life. “We can personalize most products whether it be backpacks or towels to robes, baby gifts and baby blankets. We also do vinyl personalization on metal-ware, glassware and bags,” said Cindy.
“We can do it with products in the store and if someone would bring something in we can embroider that or of it’s appropriate for vinyl we can personalize it with vinyl,” Kara said. It’s also important to note that Three Lindy’s not only features items for women and children but they have many items for men on their web site and a growing selection of items for men in the store.
Three Lindy’s can also create invitations for parties, graduations and weddings which Kara said really makes the store unique because she is not aware of a local stationery shop that offers that particular service. “We have the Imprintables here that we can print for customers or they can take home and print,” said Kara If you’re having trouble coming up with an idea that you really like, Laura, the Creative Director for Three Lindy’s can work with you to custom design something for any occasion including weddings, bridal showers, baby showers or birthday parties.
With Christmas just a few days away Three Lindy’s features a great selection of Christmas stockings and also children’s aprons that kids can use to help bake all of those holiday goods alongside mom or dad. You can also find Christmas appliqué T-shirts and Christmas ornaments which are very popular with shoppers.
For that special person on your Christmas list the gift of a tumbler is something that just about everyone can use. “The tumblers are a double wall insulated cup with a lifetime guarantee. We can personalize it with appliqués, with vinyl or both and we have two sizes 16 ounce and 26 ounce and both have lids for purchase as well,” Kara said.
“We definitely can provide just about any Christmas gift you would want as far as personalization. Our turn around time is
