CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. – We have another first for our ClarksvilleNow.com Business Spotlight. This week we’re featuring and auto body shop, in particular Jackson’s Body Shop which has been in existence since1972 at 97 Beaumont Street which is at the corner of Beaumont and 1st Streets in Clarksville.

Recently I sat down with Suzy Hopkins who along with her husband Mike, the owners of Jackson’s Body Shop. Suzy told me that Mike is the hands-on guy and makes sure everything is going on like it should in the shop. Suzy said she looks after the customers and also handles marketing.

“Mike actually came here in 2006, so he’s been here a little bit longer than I have. He originally had a shop on Highway 48-13 and was there for about 12 years, and then he and I had the opportunity to buy this shop and he moved here,” Suzy said.

Suzy spoke about what Jackson’s offers, which of course includes auto body repair and painting for both domestic and foreign vehicles, as well as work for all sizes of vehicles from campers to motorcycles and even motorcycle parts.

Jackson’s offers free estimates on all repairs, and Suzy says they also use top quality products and finishes that are part of the Dupont line for all of their work. Another service that Jackson’s features is a loaner car for customers to use while their vehicle is being repaired.

Speaking of your vehicle being repaired, have you ever wondered how the work is coming along? Suzy said Jackson’s has just started a new web site called myrepairupdate.com. As work progresses on your car or truck, Jackson’s takes photos and puts them on the site so customers can keep up with how the repair work is going.

“We are real customer oriented and our focus is really about doing the right kind of thing as far as doing a great repair and making the customer happy. We just focus on the customer to make them feel like they’ve had a good experience and that’s our big thing,” said Suzy.
