Frolic on Franklin to Support Roxy Regional Theatre

CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. - Downtown Clarksville’s 6th annual celebration of the arts, Frolic on Franklin, will take place on September 17 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

The showcase will go towards benefiting the Roxy Regional Theatre, and it will feature the works of 25 or more local and regional artists. A variety of works will also be on display including jewelry, pottery, water color and oil prints, woodwork, ceramics, porcelain, photography and more.

Pieces will be for sale with prices ranging from $5 - $2,500. Several artists will also provide demonstrations of their work throughout the day including painting and decorating glass ornaments, making wooden items with lathes, and various types of painting.

In addition to artist booths, the event will feature a performing Renaissance troupe, a Roxy Idol contest, live music, dance and other performing groups throughout the day. Adjacent shops and restaurants will also be open for everyone to shop and dine in.

Individuals are encouraged to come out in September and enjoy the culture of arts within the city of Clarksville!
