UPDATE: Shooter Arrested, Victims Named



CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. – An arrest has been made in the double shooting that occurred outside of Kiddieland Day Nursery on Thursday morning.

According to a Clarksville Police Report, Travis Lamont Skelton (B/M, DOB:  8/5/86) was booked into the Montgomery County Jail at around 1:30 a.m. Friday, September 7th and charged with Two Counts of Aggravated Assault.  His bond is set at $100,000.
 
The names of the victims have been released as well.  Nakita Butler, 22, and Cedric Outlaw, 25, have a personal relationship.  The suspect was formerly in a relationship with Butler and is the father of her two children. 

Outlaw and Skelton were involved in a verbal argument before the altercation became violent.

The investigation into the shooting is still ongoing.
