Silke's Celebrates Grand Opening of New Deli

CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. – Silke’s Old World Breads Bakery and Café now has a more convenient deli to serve people in a hurry with to-go items and breads.

The new deli portion is in the same building at 1214 College St.

According to owner Silke Tyler, “We open at 6am so you can stop off on your way to work and get your coffee and German pastries”.

She added, “We separated the café from the bakery so the people who wanted to come in for fresh German bread, pastries,  meats and cheeses, don’t have to wait in line in the café.”

Silke’s celebrated her grand opening on Thursday with Ryan and Gretchen from Q108 on hand, and free bratwurst grilled on the patio.

Silke also hosts local artists in the café, with a new artist highlighted every couple of months.
