Northwest and Northeast High Schools' Students Graduate



CLARKSVILLE, Tenn—Northwest and Northeast High Schools held their graduation ceremonies for the Class of 2011at the Dunn Center on the campus of Austin Peay State University Saturday.

At the two separate ceremonies, each graduating class marched into the Dunn Center to sounds of Pomp and Circumstances playing in the background.

The graduates waited patiently through the praises and speeches for the time they had worked so hard for over the past four years.

Finally, amidst the cheering families, students walked across stage and received their high school diplomas.

“A world of freedom is awaiting. Avoid the temptations and make wise choices. Be strong and courageous. Stay firm in your beliefs and know that today is the first day of the rest of your life,” Northwest High School Valedictorian Emily Marie Travis said.

Congratulations to all the graduates of 2011. This momentous milestone of graduating from high school is only the beginning for you.

The Northwest High School graduation ceremony was held 10 am and Northeast High School graduation began at 1 pm. The Clarksville Montgomery County High School Graduations are broadcasted live and can be viewed at www.cmcss.net afterwards the graduations will be archived for one month for later viewing.
