CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. - Jean Luna, who has served as assistant principal at Clarksville High, has been appointed by Schools Director Mike Harris as the new CHS principal.
“To be appointed principal of Clarksville High School is a great honor. The history and traditions connected with CHS make it a very special place within the community. I’m excited to work collectively with students, parents, faculty, staff, and stakeholders to continue the excellence associated withbeing a Wildcat,” Mrs. Luna said.
Mrs. Luna also served as assistant principal at Kenwood High. Previously, she served as an educator in the states of Iowa, Washington and North Carolina before beginning her career in CMCSS at Sango Elementary.
She earned her master’s degree in educational administration from Grand Canyon University in Phoenix, Arizona and her B.A. in elementary education from Loras College in Dubuque, Iowa.
"While it has been a blessing to serve as the principal of Clarksville High School, I feel confident Jean Luna and the administrative team will strive for excellence. I will treasure the countless memories of my time at CHS," Mrs. Casebolt said.
