New Airport Hosts Business After Hours



CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. – The Clarksville Area Chamber of Commerce held their monthly Business After Hours at the newly renovated airport terminal at Outlaw Field.

John Patterson, Airport Manager, said he was excited about the new facility and what it meant to bringing new business into the community.

“The Airport is an important avenue into the community of Clarksville”  Patterson said.  He added, “We want companies to fly into Clarksville and see what we have to offer and hopefully they will want to invest in the community.”

6th Annual Spring Into Summer Festival


 Will take place May 25-26 at the War Memorial Walking Trail Park, 101 Walter Garrett Lane, Oak Grove, KY.  All activities will begin at 12 p.m. both days and the festival is free and open to the public.  The festival includes a free carnival, various vendors, variety shows and a free concert with Joe Nichols at the Viceroy Performing Arts Center on Saturday.  For more information visit http://www.springintosummerfest.com/QCMS/.

Breakfast Latino Style for Chiapas


Will take place Sunday, May 26 from 8-11 a.m. at Immaculate Conception Family Life Center, 709 Franklin St.  The event will take place every fourth Sunday of the month.  This month's featured country is Brazil. Prices for breakfast items starts at $5. Proceeds raised from the breakfast items sold go to two parishes in the southern part of Mexico, San Pedro Chenalho and San Pablo Chalchihuitan.
