CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. – Clarksville City Mayor Kim McMillan and County Mayor Carolyn Bowers were on hand to cut the “green ribbon” at Faith Outreach Church on Tuesday.
The Clarksville-Montgomery County Green Certification Program is designed to help businesses learn and implement best practices in the area of environmental stewardship in an effort to sustain our community’s resources through a series of free workshops taught by environmental and other subject area specialists.
Faith Outreach Church used environmentally safe paint and carpeting when they did their remodeling, are reducing energy usage and are using recycling bins.
