Kix Brooks was one half of country music duo Brooks & Dunn, who disbanded after 20 years of touring

Brooks resumed his solo career in 2012, releasing a new twelve-track album, New to This Town featuring nine songs co-written by Brooks, including the album’s first single and title track.

Brooks is the host of American Country Countdown, heard locally on Beaver 100.3 FM each Sunday afternoon at 5pm.
When asked about doing radio, Brooks said, "I really love the radio stuff.  I think people forget sometimes that we dedicate our whole lives to Country music because we're such fans.  I love getting on there and talking about all my buds".

Leadership Clarksville was founded in 1987 as an independent, executive leadership program to give community leaders a three-dimensional view of the Clarksville/Montgomery County community.

The program is designed to identify and introduce to each other the recognized and future leaders of the area and to give them an intense look at the community, its strengths and weaknesses.
