Military assignment.
Tell us about your family.
My wife, Joan, is the practice administrator for Clarksville Dental Center.
What do you like most about Clarksville?
Easy pace of life, people you can trust, a person’s word means something. Genuine, loving people.
If you could have any other profession/dream job what would it be?
Teaching dentistry in dental school, or running residency in dental school.
What is your favorite meal?
Unfortunately I like almost all foods.
What is the most difficult part of your job every day?
The challenge of providing my best care for many deserving people.
What do you drive?
Town car.
What’s your favorite movie or TV show?
Pixar movies (Shrek, Toy Story), history shows, history channel and others.
Who do you look up to? Who is your role model?
My mother, father and uncle (father’s brother).
What has been the toughest challenge you’ve had to overcome in your life?
Maintaining a healthy weight and lifestyle (exercise).
What do you hope to be doing 10 years from now? How would you like your life to look 10 years from now?
Retired, enjoying trips, flea markets, auctions, slower pace of life, bowling and golf.
Have you ever been issued a speeding ticket?
Most assuredly.
Why did you choose your current profession?
My desire to help people. I love working with my hands on small things (clocks, etc.).

1. St. John's University, N.Y.
2. Georgetown University Washington, D.C.
3. U.S. Army Residencies
When and to where was your last vacation?
Only short ones with dental conventions or just stay around home.
What is your favorite pastime or hobby?
Bowling and visiting flea markets.
What advice can you give others juggling a family and career?
Remember, family is paramount, nothing is more important than family.
How do you start your day?
Pray that God will help me do my best for my patients.
What are you passionate about in life?
Love of people.
What is something most Clarksvillians wouldn’t know about you?
I like to cook and bake, and I have been part of a national disaster response team.
If you could leave one message to the Clarksville community what would it be?
Clarksville is what it is and will only stay what it is as long as we keep our genuine concern for one another as shown by our heartfelt acts of kindness and concern for our fellow citizen. Think of others first. Believe it or not, the effects of kindness and true concern for others comes back in a greater quantity than was given.
