Damon Jennings, Community Relations Specialist for Daymar Institute, explained that the St. Jude Yard Sale was a way to give the community a space to display their yard sale items and sell whatever they wanted. The fee charged for each booth was donated to St. Jude Children’s Hospital.
The Back to School Bash was their way of giving local merchants a way of giving to the local school children by letting them give away items to fill their back packs with necessary items for when they return to school.
Daymar Institute is located at 1860 Wilma Rudolph Blvd. For more information call (931) 552-7600 or go to daymarinstitute.edu.
