What is your full name?
My full name is Daphne Isley Treadway

What is your profession?
I am a Professional Portrait Photographer specializing in Newborns and Family Photography.

Where are you from originally?
I am originally from Dallas, Georgia.

How long have you been in Clarksville? What brought you to Clarksville?
We have lived in Clarksville for the last 12 years.

Tell us about your family.
I have been married to my husband Tim for the last 25 years! We have a son Timothy who is 20, and a daughter Taylor who is 15.

What do you like most about Clarksville?
I love the fact that I can go the grocery, bank, church, school and the mall in 15 minutes or less! I also cherish the many close friendships we have made since living here.

If you could have any other profession/dream job what would it be?
I would be a horse trainer.

What is your favorite meal?
My Favorite meal is salmon and chocolate!

What is the easiest and most difficult part of your job every day?
The easiest part of my job in taking the images. The hardest part is the bookkeeping. I am not a big fan of Math!

What do you drive?
I drive a Suzuki.

What’s your favorite movie or TV show?
My Favorite movie is The Notebook.

Who do you look up too? Who is your role model?
I adored both of my Grandmothers. They both were the most loving and Godly women that I have ever known. I wish they were both still here with us.

What has been the toughest challenge you’ve had to overcome in your life?
The toughest challenge I have had to overcome is when my father was killed in a tragic automobile accident when I was 12 years old.

What do you hope to be doing 10 years from now? How would you like your life to look 10 years from now?
In 10 years I would like to be retired at the beach or on a horse farm.

Have you ever been issued a speeding ticket?
Yes.

Why did you choose your current profession?
I wanted to do something that I was passionate about and be able to schedule my work around my family's schedule.

Where did you go to school and what did you study?
I attend West Georgia College in Carrollton Georgia. I have a Master's degree in Education.

When and to where was your last vacation?
My Last Vacation was in Hilton Head Island.

What is your favorite pastime or hobby?
Playing Tennis and scrapbooking.

What advice can you give others juggling a family and career?
Get a calendar and plan every hour of your day!

How do you start your day?
I start my day my feeding my family breakfast and doing the laundry!

What are you passionate about in life?
I absolutely love taking images of newborns and families. I love being able to capture that special relationship that exist between a child and parent.

What is something most Clarksvillians wouldn’t know about you?
That I am a country girl at heart!

If you could leave one message to the Clarksville community what would it be?
Be sure that you have a professional family portrait made at least every three years. These images will mean the world to your children and grandchildren one day.
