How long have you been in Clarksville? What brought you to Clarksville?
7 years full time. My job at 5 Star Radio Group brought me here. However, I did live here while attending Austin Peay.
Tell us about your family.
I’ve been married to Randy Dill, Jr., for just over a year. We have a puppy named Cleg, he’s a holy terror. My parents, brother and their 2 dogs live in Goodlettsville,TN.
What do you like most about Clarksville?
I like the small town atmosphere, and the proximity to Nashville!
If you could have any other profession/dream job what would it be?
Work in the front office of a professional sports team or work for a record label.
What is your favorite meal?
The filet mignon at Bud and Alley’s in Seaside, FL.
What is the easiest and most difficult part of your job every day?
The easiest- is coming to work, it’s a fun, enjoyable atmosphere and it’s what I’ve always wanted to do. The most difficult- is coming to work, sometimes, I just don’t want to wake up.
What do you drive?
A 2003 Ford Mustang that is NEARLY paid off!
What’s your favorite movie or TV show? I love Rescue Me, Sex and the City, Big Brother and a lot of junk like The Real Housewives of Insert City…it’s trash and I love it!
Who do you look up too? Who is your role model?
I’ve always looked up to my parents, they’re awesome. They’ve always supported me with every choice I’ve made in life and are always willing to help me anyway they can.
What has been the toughest challenge you’ve had to overcome in your life?
My grandfather’s both passed away within a month of each other in the Summer of 2003, so going back to school that Fall was a definite struggle.
What do you hope to be doing 10 years from now? How would you like your life to look 10 years from now? Wow, that’s a tough question. I hope to still be something in radio, it’s such a crazy evolving business, who knows what radio will be like in 10 years.
Have you ever been issued a speeding ticket?
Yes, I have a lead foot.
Why did you choose your current profession? Greg Walker, a local radio professional called my parents house one day and told my dad how great I sounded on the answering machine and the rest is…history.
Where did you go to school and what did you study?
I went to Vol State Community College and studied Mass Communiations, then transferred to Austin Peay State Univeristy and studied Corporate Communications.
When and to where was your last vacation?
March of this year, Seagrove, FL, my favorite place on earth.
What is your favorite pastime or hobby?
Watching sports, I love baseball, basketball and football! Go Big Orange!
What advice can you give others juggling a family and career?
Always take time for yourself. How do you start your day?
Saying good-bye as my husband leaves for the day, then playing with my puppy until it’s time to get ready for work.
What are you passionate about in life?
Life! I don’t want to miss anything and try to soak it up as much as possible.
What is something most Clarksvillians wouldn’t know about you?
I took the band Saliva to Kroger on Madison Street one time…it was…interesting.
