Communication is Key

Your wedding is special to you; make sure that it’s everything you dreamed it would be by communicating your vision well. I have learned over the years that most people are visual so I am a firm believer in clarification. Before interviewing cake bakers, décor designers, florist, etc, take the time to do a little research. Print any photos from your favorite wedding web site or check out current bridal magazines, for ideas which convey what you want.

Two things will happen, one you will notice a theme emerging and two you and your vendor will speak the same language. In addition any estimate you request will be more accurate. A word of caution is in order here, follow your heart, advice from well meaning friends is wonderful but too many suggestions cause you to second guess yourself. On your wedding day you should be comfortable with YOUR choices.
So I suggest that you fix your favorite beverage, put on some music and dream through the pages of your favorite wedding magazine (or web site). Enjoy!!!
