CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. – The Clarksville-Montgomery County Education Foundation will honor over 160 students of the Clarksville-Montgomery County School System at their 24th annual Academic Awards Banquet on Friday, March 8.
All of the students are seniors and will receive their awards at the banquet being held at 6 p.m. at First Baptist Church in Clarksville. Each student will be recognized and receive an award for their academic achievements. Guest speaker for the event is Tennessee State Senator Mark Green of Clarksville.
Over the past 27 years the Clarksville-Montgomery County Education Foundation has worked within the community to support the school system. The foundation partners with many local businesses and community leaders in an effort to improve educational opportunities for students in Clarksville-Montgomery County.
