Business Spotlight-Hello Fabulous Salon & Skin

CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. – Whether you are out on the town with the crowd or just spending time with family and friends you always want to look your best and there is a special place in Clarksville you can go that will help you look fabulous. I’m talking of course about the new Hello Fabulous Salon & Skin.

Right after the first of the year I had the opportunity to sit down with Ana Santiago, owner of Hello Fabulous Salon & Skin to find out more about her new business located at 244 Dover Road. I say new because the salon has only been open since October but Santiago has her years of experience behind her to share with her clients.

Santiago talked about attending Queen City Beauty College in Clarksville and then teaching there for about 4 years as the skin care teacher and said she is very knowledgeable when it comes to skin and all the technology about it. She adds that Brazilian waxes are one of her big fortes.

Santiago used to work at a shop in downtown Clarksville that closed which she said gave her the push to move ahead with opening her own business. “I wanted to bring in mostly very important for our industry, a very clean place. I wanted to bring something high-end to this side of town because there was nothing in north Clarksville so I think we achieved that,” Santiago said.

There is also a story behind where the name Hello Fabulous came from and it involves a former hit TV series. “My concept was fabulous woman because I was a big Sex in the City fan so I wanted to have everything fabulous like them and that’s what it turned out to be,” said Santiago. Hello Fabulous Salon & Skin was built and designed from the floor to the roof by Ana Santiago’s husband, Ruben Santiago who owns Cuto’s Home Improvement.

Having the latest technology and product for her salon is very important to Santiago and she says she uses only a certified organic color line to color hair. When it comes to other services Santiago says they are also well known for their pedicures and they work to offer the safest pedicure in town. Both our manicures and pedicures are done with tools that are only used on one person and they are not used on anyone else.

‘We’re a very small salon so your attention is going to be very personalized. I want my slogan to be Clarksville’s salon for the VIP. This is a salon that for the most part people mostly say that it’s cozy. It’s small, it’s like you’re the only one here and you’re going to be well taken care of,” said Santiago. Santiago also wants everyone to know that she is fully bilingual in Spanish and English and serves the Hispanic community as well.

Santiago said that people can come in and get anything that they want for their beautiful image like their skin, hair, feet and nails and be like family. You’re going to come to a really beautiful high-end place and you’re going to look fabulous when you leave.

You’ll find Hello Fabulous Salon & Skin at 244 Dover Road, Suite #2 in the Westown Shoppes. Their hours are flexible and you can call for an appointment at (931) 494-9699 or visit www.hello-fabulous.com.
