Burt-Cobb Community Center Helping to Beat the Heat



CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. – The Burt-Cobb Community Center, 1011 Franklin Street, has been designated as a cooling center to provide relief from the extreme heat expected over the next few days.  The American Red Cross is also helping by providing water.
 
The cooling center at Burt-Cobb will be open Saturday, June 30 from 11:00 a.m.-7:00 p.m., July 1 from Noon - 7:00 p.m. and July 2 & 3 from 4:00-9:00 p.m.  There is no cost or ID required when using the shelter to cool off and take a break from the heat.
