Another Original Winter Market

CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. - Continuing  with the Downtown Market’s success, the Smith Trahern Mansion has opened its doors to welcome the “Winter Market”.  Each Friday from 9:30am to 1:30 pm, artisans from the area can display their wares in the comfort of the gracious mansion located at 101 McClure Street.

Martha Pile, with Montgomery County UT Extension office, says “Each week we get more and more vendors from our area.  We started out using only one room of the mansion but now we’ve expanded to 3 rooms”.

You can stock up on just about anything at the Winter Market, including garden fresh vegetables, homemade breads, cakes, pies, clothing, jewelry and woodcarvings.

Admission to the Winter Market is free and open to the public.  For more information, contact Martha Pile at 931-648-5725.
