An Evening with Pat Head Summit



CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. – Over 500 people filled the Bud Barn to welcome home one of the area’s own sports legends, Pat Head Summit.

During the “Evening With Pat Summit”, Senator Tim Barnes and State Representative, Joe Pitts, presented Summit with a proclamation from the State of Tennessee recognizing her accomplishments over the years.

The event sponsored by Hand Family Companies, Avalon Hospice, Dogwood Bend Assisted Living, Home Care Solutions Home Health, and Home Instead Senior Care, featured a BBQ dinner and beverages and a chance to have Pat Summit sign shirts that were emblazoned with “We Back Pat”.

The event was also to give recognition to the Pat Summit Foundation which provides education and awareness of Alzheimer’s and support services to patients, their families and caregivers.
