CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. – Bill Gates mentioned Austin Peay State University in a recent conference that was aired this week on C-SPAN2.
While speaking on the future of higher education, Gates noted APSU’s Degree Compass, which has been nationally recognized.
Degree Compass is a course recommendation system that helps students stay on track toward graduation. Degree Compass has been called “the Netflix effect” because it provides students with personalized recommendations based on their academic transcript, similar to the way Netflix makes movie suggestions to customers.
