8th Graders Look to the Future for Careers

CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. – The APSU Red Barn was filled with eighth graders on Friday to attend the “Your Choice, Your Future” career exploration day.

Overseeing the event was Brenda Scarborough, Career Technical Education Career Counselor, who said, “This event is to let 8th graders see businesses and industries to find out what their academic courses should be for the particular career they want to pursue”.

There were representatives from Engineering, Medical, HVAC, Diesel, Business Management, and financial institutions.
