2012 All Area Varsity Middle School Team



CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. – Members of the 2012 All Area Varsity Middle School Team for Clarksville-Montgomery County were recently recognized for their accomplishments.     The team, made up of 8th graders from local middle schools who are voted on by area coaches.  
 
All Area Varsity Middle School Team players from West Creek Middle School were Drew Bevels, Gabriel Alling, Cody Louk, Tucker Lovelace and Jimmy Miller.  Richview Middle School featured Tyrone Burney, Jackson Boyd, Teal Young, Brevon Johnson, Cody Spurgeon, Anthony Horner and Ryan Maurin.
 
From Rossview Middle School, Joseph Dowlen, Walter Singleton and Connor Dufrane (not pictured).   Players from Kenwood Middle School were Antwuan Branch, Dorris Acree, Raequan Blackwell and Earnest White. 
 
New Providence Middle School players included Ralph Satterthwhite, Dylan Carney, Shane Carney and Hunter Woodruff.  Rounding out the team are the Northeast Middle School players consisting of K-marhie Dix, Brendan McGlasson and Chris Barnes.
 
Howard Spurgeon, a coach for Richview Middle School, and organizer of the event bringing the players together, said most of the youngsters have played football since they were 5 years old and this is their 10th year of playing in Junior Pro and their last year before going to high school.
